The Power of Faith

Everyday from the moment I wake
There are thoughts that stay in my mind 
Is there really a way to keep faith in our hearts
When it seems that our lives are falling apart
Dreams from the night follow me when I rise
And my fears bring tears to my eyes
Will our hopes be realized, will our children survive, will we see freedom in our lifetime?
 
I believe in the power of faith, in the will and the strength of our conscious minds
And my faith is a song that goes on and on forever
 
As our elders grow old and our story is told
There's a power that feels so secure
And it's perfectly seen just  what faith really means
When I think of the struggles that we've endured
 
When I look in the eyes of an innocent child
There's a place that warms in my heart
And my hope is renewed cause in her eyes I see truth
And a vision of our future shines through
